Giving to Hilbert

Hilbert College's 2018 Day of Service - March 1, 2018

Supporting Our Students and Community Objectives

Hilbert faculty and staff have long understood the value of investing in Hilbert College and its mission. Whatever role or relationship to Hilbert, we each play an integral part in providing the resources and infrastructure necessary for our students to continue to discover new ways of learning.

As our college's 61st anniversary approaches this year, Hilbert takes the time to celebrate and promote philanthropic service to our students, as well as our general community. We bookmark March 1st as a day to endorse the Franciscan spirit of charity, while reminding ourselves of the blessings that we have been bestowed. With that in mind, our annual campaign tries to re-connect with the global Hilbert network to provide campus updates and disclose current fundraising initiatives, bearing in mind that 100% of all funds raised by our development team go straight toward future student scholarships. March 1st brings campus events, plus stewardship efforts from faculty, staff, students and alums. Perhaps you will receive a call from your favorite professor, or a student majoring in your discipline?

Hilbert's day of service is a time to flex your pride in the cultural identity that is Hilbert. Whether you make a donation, or just simply re-connect with a campus representative, we hope that all of our community members take a second on March 1st to reflect upon what Hilbert has meant to them, and how you have eagerly served as an ambassador of hope for future generations.

In 2017, we enjoyed donations from 316 Hilbert community members, and raised over $52,000 for student scholarships. Over 80% of all Hilbert students receive some sort of financial aid package.
